I was born aartist fot the fact that his late father was a craft master in the department of Dyeing and weaving in Ogbomoso grammer school Oyoo state, Nigeria. And he entered national commission for museums adn mounments Lagos Nigeria in 1979 after his school certificate.
I worked with Nigeria museus for the duration of sixteen years where he severd in various capacity such as Assistant technical Officer, Museum Educaton Officer, and subsequetly, the curator and head of station national commisson for museum and mounments Osogbo, Osunstate Nigeria where i worked hand in hand with Susanne wenger the "Aduni Olorisa" of Osogbo, a reknown worldly acclaimed seasoned artist of painting sulpture and Batik and still working together with her up to date.

Mr Davies advised the young ones not to be lazy because Africa has a lot of work were one can involve him or herself, and that he is always willing to help the young ones when he is free.He urged the government to support arts morally and finacially. he futher said that the public should not take artist as beggers or idol worshippers, but to support and encourage them in whatever they are doing.Momodou Joof Director of national Council for arts and Culture said it was Davies's first time to organised such an exhibition. He opined that arts play an important role in the society, and Mr Davies calibre plays an important role in the socio - economic development of the country.He called for support of young talents to help in their bid for recongnition

"NCAC director urges government to give art and craft special attention"which quotes,The Director of the National Council for aart and culture, Momodou Joof, has called on african government to pay special attention to art and craft. Mr Joof made these remarks on the exhibition staged by Ajani Davies in collaboration with Alliance Franco Gambienne Centre. Speaking during the ceremony, Ajani Davies averred that all human beings are from the same source and as such should love one another. He gave a brief histrory of his life, nothing that his father was an artist and that he was inspired by the works of his father

Ajani Davies "LAUNCHED ITAN AGBAYE" - which quote's FOROYAA; how do you gather the information featured in your batik and painting work?
AJANI; i was born in a place in Nigeria where many kind of traditional religion are been pratised and where mostly ancentral religion are equally still being to pratised. So this gives me a broad range of experience about this modes of worship in existence.These are the factor that enable me to gather as much information as possible. most of my works are products of life stories and meditations which are very touching in life of mankind
However i left NIgeria Museum in 1994 and opened a private Art gallary the same year at Osogbo OsunState that is reknowed and riched in arts and culture. I have been using the gallery in helping training the welfare home and approved schools students in calloboration with foreign national on voluntary exchange programmes in Nigeria.
As a testimony to my resoucefulness, I Ajani Davis voluntarily worked with the UNICEF, UNDP assisted SMES some vocational training workshop programmes on art and craft demostration in the ministyr of commerce and industry; mass education agency in Nigeria.
Among the numerous commission work that i have successfully completed are unknown soldier in bauchi state, ametal contruction "Protection" in Oyo state, Fulani girls and Fulani drummer all at Bauchi state I am a member of many professional academic and social Organisation such as National association of Nigerian artist, Osun State Torist board, the nigerian Artist cooperative and society of nigerian Artist Oyo state chapter, Nigeria.
In the area of researh and publications I produced more than fourteen publications among them are, Research on History of Osogbo,Igbo proverds, Designs in Artifacts, the Nigeria technology(Basketry), Centre of ancient civilization in Nigeria, Role of Musuem in the development of child in school, the importance of culture in the education of child e.t.c
I won some artist award such as the best artist youth corper in the area of my primary assignment and national honours award as one of the best youth corper in 1987 respectively and i successfully stage an art exhibition on several occasions such as an art exhibition on realistic semi abstract, legend and supestition of traditional africal at Jos in 1987; Corper's week joint exhibition at Bauchi in 1987 and exhibition of traditional texile design in 1990 at
